although I´m into this hobby since June 2007 I´m a newbie and I still have a long ways to go...
Just to avoid some misunderstandings, here´s a little FAQ about me an this hobby (sorry for my english, isn´t my native language):
May I use your pictures?
No, not without my written consent. Any duplication or use of the pictures in my gallery in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted. If you would like to use my pictures for personal and noncommercial purposes (such as reference pictures for painting), please contact me beforehand. However I reserve the right to decline requests that I don't see fit.
Do you sculpt models?
No, I don't. I buy a garage kit, prepare the parts before painting, paint them (mostly by a handbrush) and assemble the parts. I´m neither an illustrator nor a sculptor and I totally lack the patience and skills for this kind of thing.
Do you build GK for others?
No, I only do it for myself and just for fun. Luckily I have a good paid fulltime-job and so I don´t have to earn some extra money with building garage kits. This is merely a hobby to me and not a second job. Besides, it is a hell of work involved in building a garage kit and most of the people are shocked when they hear how much it will cost to get a custom-made garage kit.
Do you sell any of your finished kits?
No, I won´t. Some of my garage kits didn't turned out quite the way I wanted, but I´m fond of each of them and I would never part with any of them ^^
Do you use an airbrush?
Yes and no. Actually I prefer to paint a garage kit with handbrushes and so all my models are mostly done by handbrush. Although there are a few parts on some kits that have been painted with airbrush to achieve a special effect or just because the areas to big ^^
Which materials do you use for painting?
I prefer water-based acrylics and soft pastels for shadings.
How many unbuild garage kits do you have?
Too many ^^
